Road Rehabilitation Begins on Major Roads Throughout Paradise This Week

August 12, 2026

Pulverizing and Paving are Scheduled for Portions of Clark Road, Elliott Road, Oliver Road, Roe Road, Pentz Road and Skyway as Part of Ongoing Construction

PARADISE, CA – August 12, 2026 - The Town of Paradise continues making progress as part of its ongoing roadway rehabilitation program, and this week has shifted focus to several major roads throughout Town, starting with work on Pentz, Roe, and Oliver roads and moving to Upper and Middle Skyway, Clark Road and Elliott Road in mid- to late-August.

Schedule Overview:

  • Week of August 10 – Road preparation on Pentz Road, Roe Road, and Oliver Road.
  • Week of August 17 – Paving begins on Pentz Road, Roe Road, and Oliver Road.
  • Late August and September – Preparation work, then paving on portions of Clark Road, Elliott Road, and Skyway.

During construction, drivers should expect traffic control, lane closures, construction equipment and delays. Access will be maintained, but motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time, follow posted signage and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Construction activity on Skyway, Clark and Elliott will take place at night to minimize the impact to local businesses and school operations.

The road rehabilitation is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to rebuild a stronger, safer and more resilient community. In 2025, the Town rebuilt over 100 public roadways that sustained damage during the Camp Fire recovery effort, and so far in 2026, dozens of additional residential roadways have also been rebuilt. While the majority of residential roadway work has been completed, crews will continue returning through fall 2026 to complete several more local roads and final items such as utility adjustments, pavement markings, shoulder work, and other finishing activities.

More information about construction timing and a map of construction locations is available at www.ParadiseWorks.com. For questions related to road construction, residents can e-mail ParadiseWorks@TownofParadise.com or call or text (530) 876-4001.

The Town of Paradise appreciates the community’s ongoing patience and cooperation as this important work is completed.
