Long-Term Recovery Plan

Road to Recovery

Building Paradise's Future: Together, Again

Paradise's Long-Term Recovery Plan was created to guide the Town's recovery after the Camp Fire. Starting in 2018, residents came together through a series of community meetings to identify what mattered most for Paradise's recovery and what they wanted the Town to become. Those conversations led to five goals that still guide the plan today. Now, as Paradise moves beyond recovery, the plan is looking ahead toward continued growth, strengthening the community, and creating a town people are proud to call home and enjoy living in.

The 2026 update is an opportunity to look ahead together and identify what matters most for Paradise’s next chapter.

Updating the Plan for 2026

Just as residents helped shape the original plan, community input will drive this update. We want to hear about your experience living on the Ridge today:

  • What is working well?
  • What could be improved?
  • What matters most to you as Paradise continues to grow and recover?
  • What would you like Paradise to look and feel like in the years ahead?

Your input will help the Town understand current community priorities and shape the updated Long-Term Recovery Plan.
